Milpitas High School prides itself in its diversity. In our theatre department, we find extraordinary unity in that diversity. We give students a forum to express themselves, and provide a safe space for them to tell their stories, speak their truths, and develop their self-esteem. We encourage students to build bridges of understanding across all facets of life.
As successful as our program is in terms of learning opportunities and student growth both in the classroom and in our extracurricular productions, we struggle with finances. Our programs and productions are not budgeted by MUSD. Ticket and concession sales are our primary source of income. We believe that the benefits of participating in theatre greatly outweigh financial considerations.
Your tax-deductible sponsorship will be recognized in all of this year’s Playbill publications at Milpitas High School Theatre programs that will be seen by more than 2000 audience members. Contributions of at least $500 will also be recognized in all forms of social media.
